• Seeking an astute individual with a strong technical foundation, hands-on experience with the engineering team, and deep knowledge of Data Science and Machine Learning, capable of implementing industry best practices in collaboration with platform and product teams.Scope:
  • Our machine learning platform ingests data in real time, processes information from millions of retail items to serve deep learning models, and produces billions of predictions daily.
  • The Data Science and Machine Learning team collaborates closely with sales, product, and engineering teams to design and implement advanced retail solutions, transforming data into actionable insights that improve customer outcomes.What you will do:
    • As a Data Scientist, you will serve as a specialist supporting the engineering team with:
    • Implementing machine learning models by procuring data from various sources.
    • Developing data enrichment and cleansing routines.
    • Evaluating, selecting, and reporting on model performance.
    • Ensuring proper deployment and runtime monitoring of models to maintain stability.
    • Collaborating with product, sales, and engineering teams to shape solutions.
    • Analyzing data to identify patterns, test hypotheses, and iterate.
    • Assisting in preparing sales materials and estimating hardware needs.
    • Participating in client meetings to discuss functionalities.Our current technical environment:
      • Software: Python 3.0
      • Frameworks/Others: TensorFlow, PyTorch, BigQuery, Snowflake, Apache Beam, Spark, Kubeflow, Dataflow, Databricks, Kubernetes, Kafka, Pub/Sub, Flask
      • Cloud: Google Cloud and/or AzureWhat we are looking for:
        • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Analytics, Engineering, or related fields.
        • Strong understanding of data science and deep learning fundamentals.
        • Minimum 1-2 years of hands-on Python programming experience and solid knowledge of data structures.
        • Experience with at least two frameworks/libraries like Pandas, NumPy, Keras, TensorFlow, Jupyter, Matplotlib.
        • Proficiency in database query languages, preferably SQL.
        • Knowledge of Big Data technologies such as Snowflake, Apache Beam/Spark, Flink, Databricks.
        • Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure and GCP.
        • Familiarity with software development tools like Git, Jenkins, Docker, Jira.
        • Knowledge of deep learning, NLP, reinforcement learning, and optimization techniques.
        • Experience mentoring junior data scientists.
        • Desired familiarity with Kafka, Redis, Cassandra, etc.-------------------------------------------The salary range for this position is $85,788 - $108,212.This range reflects current national data; actual salary may vary based on location, skills, experience, and other factors.
