Job Description Job Description Urgently Hiring! :) We are seeking an experienced and reliable Local LTL Driver to join our team in Flower Mound, TX. As a Local LTL Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering freight to our customers within the local area. If you have a strong work ethic, excellent driving skills, and a commitment to customer satisfaction, we want to hear from you! *Responsibilities:* - Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle (CMV) to deliver freight to customers within the local area - Load and unload freight from the trailer - Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the CMV to ensure it is in good working condition - Comply with all federal, state, and local regulations - Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with customers and dispatchers - Work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives - Maintain a clean and organized CMV and perform basic maintenance tasks as needed *Requirements:* - Valid CDL license with a good driving record - Current DOT physical card - At least 1 year of experience driving an LTL truck for an Asset-Based Carrier - Knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns - Ability to lift, push, and pull freight weighing up to 100 pounds - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deliveries per day - Excellent communication and customer service skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Basic computer skills and ability to use electronic logging devices *Preferred Qualifications:* - Experience with LTL freight delivery - Knowledge of cargo securement and handling procedures - Experience with electronic logging devices and other transportation software *What We Offer:* - Competitive hourly rate - Overtime opportunities - Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage - 401(k) retirement plan with company match - Paid time off and holidays - Opportunities for career advancement and professional growth Company Description MountainMovers Transportation & Logistics is a transportation provider and Asset Carrier based in Flower Mound, TX.
