Our team values professionalism, efficiency, and a positive patient experience. Position Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our dermatology team. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment while providing excellent patient care. Key Responsibilities: Room patients and obtain detailed medical histories Assist providers with medical and surgical dermatology procedures Prepare and maintain exam rooms and instruments Perform scribing duties and accurate documentation in EMR (EMA) Provide patient education and post-procedure instructions Handle biopsies, specimen labeling, and lab coordination Maintain inventory and stock supplies Ensure compliance with OSHA and HIPAA standards Qualifications: Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant (dermatology experience preferred) Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred Strong knowledge of medical terminology Experience with EMR systems (Modernizing Medicine EMA preferred) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting Preferred Skills: Dermatology-specific experience preferred Scribing experience Experience with prior authorizations and patient callbacks Compensation & Benefits: Competitive hourly pay (based on experience) Paid time off and holidays Health benefits (if applicable) Schedule: Monday–Friday, full-time, 1 half Saturday a month (in office) Occasional early or late shifts depending on patient volume Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location: In person
