HCA Healthcare invites dedicated and compassionate medical professionals to join our team as a Respiratory Therapist PEDS NICU at one of our advanced NICU facilities. As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing specialized respiratory care for neonates and pediatrics in our state-of-the-art NICU. Your expertise in the management of respiratory health issues will directly contribute to our mission of improving human life by ensuring the well-being of our most vulnerable patients. Assess, diagnose, and treat infants and children in the NICU with respiratory disorders. Administer and manage ventilation and airway management techniques. Collaborate with the NICU team to develop and implement comprehensive patient care plans. Participate in clinical rounds and provide input on patient progress and treatment plans. Educate parents and families on respiratory treatments and home care needs post-discharge. Ensure all medical equipment is maintained and functioning correctly. Professional knowledge of respiratory care procedures and protocols Ability to operate all standard respiratory care equipment for neonatal and pediatric care Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in treatment administration Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the state where the hospital is located BLS certification required Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential preferred Neonatal/Pediatric Specialist (NPS) certification is a plus
