Job Description:
Aveanna Healthcare, a pioneering national provider of
diversified home healthcare services, is seeking a dedicated
Registered Nurse (RN) for high acuity in-home care during weekend
shifts. This position is ideal for an RN committed to making a
difference by providing compassionate, one-on-one care to patients
in their homes. The role requires managing complex patient
situations, delivering high-quality nursing services, and
collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient
outcomes. Assess patient conditions during each visit through
physical exams and by obtaining patient's and families' health
histories. Create and manage detailed patient care plans in
conjunction with the healthcare team. Monitor patient health and
document symptoms, reactions, and progress. Administrate
medications, wound care, and other personalized interventions as
ordered by a physician, documenting treatment and outcomes. Educate
patients and their families on disease processes, treatment plans,
and health maintenance and management at home. Ensure strict
compliance with safety standards, protocols, and regulations.
Proficiency in high-acuity nursing interventions. Strong
organizational and communication skills. Ability to operate medical
equipment. Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Valid RN
license in the state of practice. BLS (Basic Life Support)
certification. ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) optional but
preferred.
