Ascension is seeking a dedicated and skilled CVOR Certified Surgical Technologist to join our faith-based healthcare organization. As pivotal members of our operating room teams, our technologists play a crucial role in our commitment to transforming healthcare and providing compassionate, personalized care. In one of our state-of-the-art Cardiovascular Operating Rooms (CVOR), you will work alongside surgical experts to facilitate high-quality procedures with cutting-edge technology, enhancing health outcomes within the communities we serve. Assist in surgical operations under the supervision of surgeons, registered nurses, or other surgical personnel. Ensure that all equipment is functioning properly before the surgery begins. Prepare, organize, and maintain sterile field during surgical procedures. Monitor and continually assess operating room conditions, including patient and staff safety. Handle and process specimens for delivery to the laboratory. Follow all hospital regulations and industry standards related to safety, infection control, and conduct. Proficient in maintaining a sterile environment. Expertise in surgical instrument handling and procedure protocols. Capable of quick decision-making in high-pressure environments. Strong organizational and observational skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA). Specific credentials in CVOR technology are highly preferred.
