Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Orthopedic Location: Plano, TX Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,487 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/23/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Med Surg Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: 1 Year Med Surg Experience ACLS Certification BLS Certification Description: Unit Information: Number of Beds - 36 Type of Staff: Day Shift - 1 Charge Nurse, 8 RN, 3 CNA Night Shift - 1 Charge Nurse, 8 RN, 3 CNA Patient Ratios 1:5, may flex to 6 Type of Equipment - Telemetry Electronic Medical Record - Meditech Typical Hiring Profile: Skill Set Most Recruited For: Candidates without required skills will not be considered for the role. Preferred or nice to have skills will be considered first. Ortho and/or Trauma Patient Experience Typical Procedures Performed/Common Diagnoses on Units: Polytrauma patients Non-surgical cervical fractures cleared by spine Ortho and trauma with downgraded traumatic brain injury No more than 3 drains Burn downgrades Heparin and Protonix drips Best Personality Fit: Team player Floating Area: All Med Surg Units Dress Code: Scrub Color - Royal Blue Unit Guidelines/Policies: Be on the unit for Huddle 15 minutes prior to shift start. Tardiness addressed by hospital policy. 4 weekend commitments required. General Comments: One position available.
