Opportunity – Rapid Response Pediatric Cardiac ICU RN – Texas Start
Date: January 12, 2026 Location: Dallas, Texas Compensation:
Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 48 hours
guaranteed per week; rotating weekends (day shift Saturday and
Sunday, night shift Friday and Saturday); 6-week assignment; no
call Highlights: 27-bed Pediatric Cardiac ICU with acuity-adaptive
staffing model serving both ICU and step-down level patients
Patient ratios of 1:2, 1:1, and occasionally 1:3 depending on
acuity Hands-on experience with complex congenital heart disease
cases, post-operative cardiac management, ECMO, and CRRT Meditech
EMR system; state-of-the-art equipment including Servo U
ventilators, NIRS monitoring, and advanced infusion systems
Opportunity to work with a collaborative 90-member nursing team
committed to continuity of care Floating opportunities across PICU,
NICU, pediatric med-surg, and pediatric oncology for skill
diversification Requirements: Minimum 1 year Pediatric CICU/CVICU
experience as a staff nurse At least 3–4 contracts in a dedicated
Pediatric CICU setting Experience managing patients with congenital
heart disease and post-operative CHD patients Proficiency with
arterial lines, central lines, and transthoracic lines Current PALS
and BLS certifications required Neonatal cardiac experience (pre-op
