Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: /n/n Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. /n/n Opportunity: /n RN - ICU /n/n Job Details: /n • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM /n• Guaranteed 36 hours per week with 13-week assignment length /n• Weekend rotating schedule with every other weekend requirement /n• Overtime available when needed /n• No call requirements /n• 2 years of ICU experience required /n• Required certifications: Active Texas RN License, BLS, ACLS /n• Must have experience with hemodynamic monitoring, ventilated patients, and post-CABG care /n• Preferred skills include Meditech experience and CVICU experience /n• Work in very high acuity unit handling ECMO, heart transplant, CABG procedures /n• May be floated to other ICUs based on volume and acuity, rarely to PCU /n• Bedside shift report required with updates to patient white boards /n• Dress code: Royal blue scrubs required /n• Hair must be neat and pulled back if shoulder length or longer /n• No artificial nails, visible piercings other than ears, or visible tattoos /n• Documentation system: Meditech /n/n Facility: /n This 164-bed healthcare facility has been serving the community since 1961 and is recognized for excellence in multiple specialties.
