Description Imagine being a part of a team that pioneers
revolutionary energy systems. As a Senior Substation Design
Engineer in Olsson's Substation and Power Generation team, you'll
contribute to an expansive network of substations, switching yards,
and advanced electrical technology. Our mission goes beyond
enhancing the grid; we are committed to upgrading and innovating
electrical systems to meet the evolving energy needs of our
communities. In this pivotal role, you will lead the design and
execution of substation projects critical to the durability and
efficiency of our power infrastructure. From initial planning and
feasibility studies to design and construction administration, your
expertise will navigate all project phases. You will manage
significant projects, engage directly with clients, and collaborate
with diverse teams to deliver electrical engineering solutions that
ensure sustainable, high-powered outcomes. Key Responsibilities:
Design and Engineering: Spearhead the design and engineering of
substations as part of significant power delivery projects. Project
Leadership: Manage project phases from inception to completion,
including planning, conducting studies, and overseeing
construction. Client Interaction: Serve as the Project Manager,
liaising directly with clients to meet specifications, budgets, and
deadlines. Collaborative Engagement: Work closely with internal
teams to deliver engineering solutions that uphold Olsson's
standards of quality. Travel and Communication: Travel to project
sites and participate in client meetings as necessary to ensure
project success and client satisfaction. Qualifications You are
passionate about: Working collaboratively with others. Having

affect communities. You bring to the team: Strong communication
skills. Ability to contribute and work well with a team. Excellent
interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Bachelor's degree in
electrical engineering. Must be a registered Professional Engineer
(PE). At least eight years of engineering experience, with
