Your schedule is built around a standard 40-hour week aligned to business hours (with flexibility as needed), and your nights are largely spent at home—minimal overnight travel and no weekends. Each day brings a different facility, a new project, and a fresh challenge: commissioning a turning center in the morning, troubleshooting a 5-axis VMC in the afternoon, or dialing in an automation cell. Explore who we are on the Ellison About Us page. What you’ll do Own day-to-day field service across the local market: installations, corrective service, and preventive maintenance. Diagnose issues, restore uptime, and support sales initiatives; provide light customer training where appropriate. Communicate with operators, engineers, and leadership with clarity and professionalism. Represent Ellison Technologies ethically and consistently with our business standards. Manage cases and projects end to end, maintaining accurate records and technical documentation. Perform additional related duties as assigned. What you bring You’ve installed, maintained, and/or repaired CNC machining centers and CNC turning centers, and you’re comfortable across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems. CNC machine repair proficiency CNC machine installation experience Preventive maintenance and inspection Setup and changeover on CNC equipment Advanced troubleshooting of CNC systems Tool/die/mold repair capability Technology you’ll touch CNC Mill (3–4 axis VMC) (Haas, Okuma, Doosan, Dmg Mori Seiki) CNC Automation Solutions CNC Lathe (2–4 axis) (Haas, Okuma, Doosan, Dmg Mori Seiki) CNC Router CNC Swiss Lathe CNC Mill (5 axis VMC) CNC Lathe (5 axis) (Doosan) Servo Motors Schedule & travel Primarily local field work across Dallas–Fort Worth with minimal nights away during the week and no weekends.
