Designer/Construction Manager is responsible for all aspects of
interior construction projects from conception to completion with
direct responsibility for in budget on schedule projects within a
multi-site medical office building portfolio. RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as leader on each project to coordinate and supervise all
aspects of the scope of work Perform site survey of existing
conditions and field measurements Produce space plans, pricing
plans, design development packages and construction documents
Demonstrate competency with building codes, TAS/ADA and healthcare
design Prepare bid invitation and qualify bids Review change orders
and review and approve all pay applications Establish and maintain
construction budget Lead construction progress meetings Review
contractor submittals and RFI's during construction Prepare
internal and external reports pertaining to job status Handle
multiple tasks while remaining detail oriented and delivering
results within given timelines Communicate well with clients and
team members EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE Professional Degree from an
accredited Interior Design or Architecture program 5 years of
professional experience in commercial or healthcare tenant
development environment Strong oral and written communication
skills Proficiency in AutoCAD Ability to work independently with
minimum supervision and instruction, yet able to function as part
of a team PHYSICAL DEMANDS Physical demands described here are
representative of those that must be met by an employee to
successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While
performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly
required to talk, hear, walk, sit, and use hands to operate
computer keyboard and telephone. The employee is occasionally
required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop,
kneel or crouch. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up
to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
WORK ENVIRONMENT Office environment with some extended hours and
frequent travel throughout Dallas-Ft. Worth metroplex area
required. This position is 100% in-office . The role requires
working in office during standard business hours. Remote work or
