primarily responsible for selling season, partial and group ticket
packages. This person should be a self-motivated and positive
professional. The Account Executive will work under the guidance of
the General Manager of Sales and Marketing.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
--- The candidate will be responsible for selling a full menu of
ticket packages (full seasons, partial plans, suites and
groups).
--- Setting and conducting out of the office sales
appointments.
--- Must be willing to work non-traditional hours, weekends, events
and game days.
--- The candidate will be accountable for certain levels of
activity (calls made/appointments set) and goals.
--- Achieve monthly and yearly ticket revenue targets set forth by
the Manager.
--- Assist in the creation of new group programs and events aimed
at increasing sales opportunities.
--- Build strong relationships to provide long-term business
relationships.
--- Performing game-day responsibilities including entertaining
clients and fulfilling large group commitments.
--- Candidate should possess an optimistic team-first attitude, as
well as a competitive desire to be the best. QUALIFICATIONS To
perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to
perform each essential duty above at the highest levels. The
requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge,
skill, and/or ability required.
--- Prior sales experience is preferred but not required.
--- Previous job/internship experience within the sports marketing
industry is essential.
--- Must have a strong work ethic and a burning desire to build a
career in professional sports.
--- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication
skills, ability to communicate effectively at all levels both
internally and externally.
--- Committed to success and the sports industry with a desire to
aggressively compete within a team environment.
--- Able to simultaneously manage a high level of detail across
multiple projects.
--- Able to demonstrate flexibility and quickly adapt to changes
while maintaining high levels of productivity and effectiveness
under pressure.
--- Able to work well within a team environment, offering
assistance and support to team members whenever necessary.
--- Able to balance internal priorities with client
expectations.
--- Knowledge of Archtics/Customer Relationship Management
(CRM).
--- Bilingual in Spanish a Plus. COMPENSATION Competitive salary,
